The company became in 1990 a trading company, by taking over the whole state patrimony. In time, our company has been a real “factory-school” for the students of Bucharest Polytechnic University.

We moved into a new and modern location situated in an industrial area, not far away from the present location. New Century Holdings, the main stockholder, allocated 10.5 million Euro for the headquarters building and 1 million Euro as investment for renewing the equipment.

We don't stop at explosion-proof motors, we also assess every opportunity that presents itself. We have assimilated the electric motors for rail and road vehicles and took advantage of the trend of switching from DC motors to converter-fed AC motors for public transport vehicles. As a result, we have retrofitted Romanian trolleybuses and trams by cooperating with a local converter manufacturer, when we were presented with the opportunity.

We export over 60% of the engine production to Italy, Germany, Finland, Spain, England etc. We are one of the main suppliers of engines in the domestic market. We produce electric motors for important companies of the Romanian economy, from the food industry, textile, chemical, metallurgical, construction materials, wood exploitation and processing, etc..
